Frequently Asked Questions

Does SpaceSuit change my desktop image settings ?
No, SpaceSuit doesn't change your desktop image settings.
SpaceSuit adds a layer over your desktop on which images are displayed. When you exit SpaceSuit, this layer is removed and you can see your default desktop background.

How can I remove an image from a Space ?
To remove an image from a Space, go to this Space, right-click on SpaceSuit's icon in the Dock and select 'Remove Image'.

Recommendation on memory usage.
In order to resize and move images, SpaceSuit keeps all its images full size. If you use large images as Spaces backgrounds, this can lead to a high memory usage. To reduce this memory usage, we recommend that you use background images that fit the size of your screen.

How do I uninstall SpaceSuit ?
If SpaceSuit is running you will need to close it before the uninstallation. To do that, right-click on SpaceSuit's icon in the Dock and select Quit.
To uninstall SpaceSuit, go to Applications and drag SpaceSuit to the trash icon in the Dock.

What is the background image of SpaceSuit's logo?
This image is part of the HubbleSite-Gallery.
